FC Barcelona legend Andrés Iniesta is set to be the subject of an immersive exhibition in the city where he achieved glory. 'Iniesta Experience: El Juego Interior' will open in late September at the former IMAX cinema in Port Vell, as reported by Sport.es on Wednesday. Sport.es first reported the story.
Tickets for the event, which will run until January 2027, go on sale on Friday, September 4. The exhibition is organized by Stoneweg Culture and curated alongside NSN, a company co-founded by Iniesta himself. The former footballer, now coach of Gulf United FC, expressed his excitement for the project. "It's a project I'm very excited about and that we have carried out with great affection with the teams from NSN and Stoneweg Culture," Iniesta said.
What does the 'Iniesta Experience' exhibition include?
The exhibition promises a journey through the midfielder's professional and personal life, combining audiovisual content with interactive experiences. Among the iconic moments explored will be his goal at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea and the decisive strike in the 2010 World Cup final. Iniesta highlighted the original nature of the tour and believes the interactive experiences "will surprise and please a lot."
Jaume Sabater, founder and president of Stoneweg Culture, is the other key figure behind this cultural initiative. This is the ex-player's second exhibition project, following 'A Bunch of Stuff', a collaboration with Johnny Depp shown in New York, Tokyo, and Shanghai.
