Barça Atlètic secured their first away win of the season with a 1-0 victory over UD Barbastro in the Segunda Federación. Landry Farré headed home from a Joni Hernández corner in the 12th minute to decide a tight contest at the Campo Municipal de Deportes.
Coach Belletti's side showed several changes from the previous outing. Goalkeeper Iker Rodríguez, who had been with the first team at the Sánchez Pizjuán the day before, started between the posts. The defence featured Guillem Víctor, Àlex Campos and Hafiz Gariba, with Farré at left-back. The midfield trio was Orian Goren, Pedro Villar and Ybarra, supporting a front three of Joni Hernández, Ignasi Quer and Bisiwu.
Early goal and control
The decisive moment came from the first clear chance. Joni Hernández delivered a corner from the right and Landry Farré powered a header past goalkeeper Azón. The Barcelona reserve team tried to manage the game's tempo, but Barbastro pushed hard for an equaliser. Belletti urged his players to stretch possession to breathe with the ball. The visitors still had a great opportunity to double their lead in the 56th minute when Farré's shot struck the post.
Substitutions and returns
Belletti utilised his bench to inject fresh energy. At half-time, Álex González replaced Bisiwu. On the hour mark, Pedro Rodríguez and Aziz came on for Ybarra and Joni Hernández. Later, Òscar Gistau took over from Ignasi Quer. A positive note was the return to the squad of Ibrahim Diarra, who was on the bench after recovering from injury. Youth player Eder Aller missed out due to discomfort.
The win provides a boost for Barça Atlètic in their group standings, mirroring the strong form of the club overall. Barcelona's first team currently sits top of La Liga with 21 points from seven games, having won their last five matches in a row.
