Barcelona Sporting Club resumed training on Monday, August 24 at 08:30 in the Monumental Banco Pichincha stadium after the 3-0 victory over Orense SC at home.

The win ends a streak of five matches without a victory in the Liga Ecuabet, with three defeats: Universidad Católica (2-1), Liga de Quito (0-1) and Macará (1-2); and two draws: Leones FC (1-1) and Mushuc Runa (0-0). Goals from Tomás Rodríguez (double) and Jerly Wila gave the canary squad the three points, keeping them in the qualification zone for the championship’s hexagonal.
