Anger in Barcelona Over Ferran Torres' Comments
Spanish forward Ferran Torres has opened the door to his future and sent a direct message to his current team, FC Barcelona. During a media tour in New York, Ferran did not hesitate to express his desire for more affection and interest from the club, stating that he wants to be valued by Barça.
"I want love and they should come to negotiate; at the end of the day, it's all about talking," said Ferran Torres. "I have a contract with Barcelona, but in football you never know what can happen." These words have caused some tension between the player and the club’s management.

Barça’s management is not pleased with Ferran’s public statements regarding his future. They consider that his comments are inappropriate as they could create misunderstandings and put pressure on the club during a delicate negotiation.
"This is not the right way to handle these issues," commented a high-ranking Barça official to ElDesmarque. "Ferran has a contract with us, and we want to renew it under similar terms to his current ones, but his public attitude could complicate matters."
Ferran Torres' Future at Barça
Although Ferran was not a standout player during the World Cup, his decisive goal in the final has revalued him. There are already interested parties such as Paris Saint Germain (PSG), managed by Luis Enrique, which could offer a proposal exceeding 50 million euros.
Barça does not want to lose Ferran for free at the end of his contract next June and is still firmly committed to renewing his contract. However, any very high offer from PSG could change the situation, as the club would not hesitate to sell if such an unbeatable proposal comes in.
