FC Barcelona has finalized a sponsorship deal with Ohana Real Estate Development and Construction LLC that will bring in approximately 10 million euros per year. The contract, which lasts for over 25 years, will be put to a vote at the club's upcoming Ordinary General Assembly, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.
The club has already received an advance payment of between 2 and 3 million euros. The sponsor's logo will feature on the back of Barcelona's shirt from July 2027 until the end of the 2029-30 season in domestic competitions. In the Champions League, however, the team will continue to display the Fundació Barça logo. After this initial three-year period, Ohana will become a licensee paying just over one million euros annually for the remainder of the deal.
What other revenue will the assembly approve?
Members will also vote to ratify a long-term concession with Babylon Park Spain SL. This company will install an indoor children's park with attractions at the Spotify Camp Nou facilities. The agreement guarantees Barcelona a fixed fee for the use of its name and a percentage of the revenue generated. These operations are part of the club's strategy to expand financing for the Espai Barça project by around 500 million euros.
Furthermore, the club plans to issue guaranteed bonds worth 105 million euros with additional audiovisual rights. All of this will be discussed at the assembly convened for Saturday, September 19. The following Monday, the club will publish the financial statements memo on its official website.
What is Barcelona's current financial situation?
FC Barcelona will present an ordinary income surplus for the third consecutive year in the 2025-26 season. This income is projected to reach nearly 1.1 billion euros. However, the club expects slight extraordinary losses due to the absence of a major player sale before June 30. For the next campaign, the projected budget already exceeds that 1.1 billion figure.
This positive financial context comes as the team enjoys a strong sporting moment. Barcelona leads La Liga with 9 points, after three wins in three matches. They have scored 12 goals and conceded only two, giving them a +10 goal difference. Their next challenge is an away fixture against 17th-placed Valencia on September 6. What does this deal mean for the future?
The contract with Ohana represents a predictable, long-term cash injection for the club's coffers. The initial payment of 10 million per year for three years is a significant and guaranteed income. The subsequent shift to a licensing model ensures a lasting commercial relationship beyond the main sponsorship. Along with the Babylon Park project, these deals show a clear commitment to diversifying and maximizing revenue from the stadium and its brand.
The ratification of these contracts at the September 19 assembly is the next formal step. Meanwhile, the team focuses on maintaining its winning streak in the competition, with its next match away at Valencia.
