While Alessandro Bastoni from Inter Milan remains the primary target, sporting director Deco is evaluating more affordable alternatives, with the Brazilian defender offered for a fee upwards of €30 million.
Natan fits the profile desired by the Catalan club, being a left-footed defender. The player joined Real Betis permanently last summer, following a successful loan spell during the 2024-25 season. His impressive 41 appearances in the current campaign have attracted attention from several clubs, including Premier League offers that Los Verdiblancos previously snubbed.
According to reports from MD, Real Betis is prepared to negotiate Natan's departure this summer, but their intention is to secure more than €30 million for the defender's transfer. Natan himself would prioritize a move to Catalonia over any other offers from England, indicating his keenness to join the Blaugrana ranks.
Despite the interest and the player's profile, at this stage, it is unlikely that FC Barcelona will consider Natan a serious target. The club's main focus remains on finalizing an agreement with Inter for Alessandro Bastoni, a signing that appears more complex financially.
