Marc Cucurella, Chelsea left-back, explained to YouTuber Davoo Xeneize how training was at Barcelona with Lionel Messi. Victor Hugo Santana Carvalho, known as Vitinho, was one of those unusual reinforcements that arrived at Barça Atlètic in the past decade and had a brief stint at the club. In his case, he landed in the summer of 2017 on loan from Palmeiras with an option to buy for 12 million euros that was not exercised and in 2018 he returned home. Nobody remembered him after a downward career and, although he is only 28 years old, he is lost in the football map after a last step by the SE Uniao Cacoalense of the Brazilian regional. Until Marc Cucurella, who was in that subsidiary, rescued him to illustrate how training was with Leo Messi. And watch out because Vitinho could have been famous very much against his will. Confessed the Spanish international of Chelsea in a chat with the YouTuber Davoo Xeneize that "I trained with Messi, I don't think he remembers me, and I was shitting myself. Did I mark him? Yes, but from a distance. There was a written law that you couldn't get too close to him, it could be your last training in that team". He referred to avoiding any risk of injuring him, something that the Brazilian was not far from. And then he remembered the anecdote with Vitinho: "There was a little Brazilian boy who went up to a preseason training, Vitinho was his name, and in an exercise of possession he was like to 'mediopress' Messi with the bad luck of slipping on the grass and hitting him without wanting to, but hard. There was silence. The coach (Ernesto Valverde) stopped the training and said that that couldn't be and that you had to have a safety distance. What if we injured him? Death, death. His brain went faster than the others, when the ball arrived he already knew what to do". Also, Cucurella was nice how he put Xavi Hernández in the Olympus of center-backs, instigated to compare him with De Paul and with an indirect reference to Xabi Alonso without naming him: "What's wrong with Xavi? The normal. Xavi Hernández. Is he similar to De Paul? How similar, animal! That guy managed the football alone".
