Barcelona's first team kept up their training rhythm during the international break with a joint session alongside academy players. The activity took place on Wednesday morning at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper facilities, with manager Hansi Flick and coordinator Juliano Belletti observing from the sidelines.

First-team players involved included Alejandro Balde, Brian Fariñas, Gavi, Gabriel Jesus, Tek, and Gerard Martín. They were joined by around fifteen promising youngsters from the B team and youth sides, featuring names like Shane Kluivert, Álex González, Adam Argemí, and Gariba.

The session had a dual purpose: maintaining the fitness of players not called up by their national teams and closely assessing some of the club's top homegrown talents. The head of section, Ferran Martínez, oversaw the organisation.

The squad will return to training on Thursday morning at the Sant Joan Despí facility. Starting Saturday, Hansi Flick has granted the players a nine-day rest period. The return to competition is set for October 10th, when Barcelona, La Liga leaders with 21 points from seven games, host Getafe at the Spotify Camp Nou.

The Blaugrana enter this break in excellent form, with five consecutive league wins. Their last match was a 1-3 victory away to Sevilla. The squad's status, including the absences of Andreas Christensen and Roony Bardghji, can be followed in our injuries section. The pause will allow players to recharge before tackling the next phase of the season, aiming to consolidate a five-point lead over Atlético Madrid.
